This button contributes to a program whereby the Bronte Art Academy
donates the cost of art lessons to children in elementary school who show an artistic ability but are unable to take lessons due to financial considerations. The criteria is handled by the school through their teachers and principals. Donations are whatever you wish and are Canadian in dollars. Thank you for whatever you can contribute.

Art Classes

• Children to young adult classes are available 4-8 p.m.
• Tuesday through Friday, Saturday morning 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
• Please note:  I also do PD days
• NO minimum class size, but max will be 6 individuals. A complete one on one environment.
• Non Toxic and no solvents
• Art Instruction by Oakville portrait Artist Paul Ross Sandilands Portraits include Ann Mulvale, Gary Carr, Otto Jelnik
• Taught at the Ontario College of Art and mentored by Deece Doran, Painting companion to well known Canadian Artist Harold Towne.  Paul as a portrait Artist Is also able to paint in a number of styles, from Rubens to Renoir.
• LESSONS COVER 4 WEEKS AT 1 HR PER WEEK Commitment to the academy is 4 weeks with a renewal at the beginning of each month Total cost of materials is approx. 30-40 dollars per YEAR

BRONTE ART ACADEMY uses many different mediums, techniques and projects that is good for any skill level.

BRONTE ART ACADEMY is a place where youth and adults can come for the programs they want. A variety of mediums, techniques and subject matters are available. Our schools art lessons and art purchase services are available in Toronto, Mississauga, Burlington, Hamilton and Milton.

BRONTE ART ACADEMY is a place where artistic ambitions can be achieved. There are two types of students who come to BRONTE ART ACADEMY, those who want to have fun and try something new, and those who want to develop their skills and push their abilities.

Summer Camp

BRONTE ART Camp will be held in July/Aug.

There will include 8 separate sessions

WEEK 1 —–July 5-9

WEEK 2 —–July 12-16

WEEK 3—– July 19-23

WEEK 4—– July 26-30

WEEK 6– – Aug 9-13

WEEK 7—- Aug 16-20

WEEK 8—-Aug 23-27

Classes may be daily

Please note maximum class size per daily session will be max 6 individuals ages 7-teen

Please call early for placement guaranteed placement requires a $100.00 deposit

Cost is Weekly is $275.00

9:00 am – 4:00 pm

or $175.00 for half day

Artist is also able to paint in a number of styles from Rubens to Renoir.

Sketching class beginner will include sketching from life forms in and around Bronte boats, river, buildings, etc. This will include perspective and use of thumbnails for full workup drawings and eventual paintings

Watercolour beginner –advanced Students advancing into watercolour will understand and use basic wash techniques as well as translucent watercolour techniques to opaque watercolour [gouache] the use and understanding of colour and the colour wheel will also be included.

Figure drawing and portraiture Students will be taught the measuring of face and form. This will allow through continued instruction and practise to study portraiture. Animal portraiture will also be included.
